Ha Long Bay

Toshi and I took a 3 hour bus to Hai Phong City and met up with one of Toshi's business partner from his fish trading days, who treated us to a delicious fresh seafood meal.

 We had intended to go hiking, but it was so hot and we weren't in the mood, so we decided to rent a motorbike and ride around the National Park instead. I had a go a riding!

レンタルバイクを乗ってみた！　めちゃ楽しかったです！！

It was just like the episode of Top Gear where they rented motorbikes in Vietnam, which is what inspired me to want to go to Vietnam, which you can see HERE!

Apartment Tour

I'm feeling much more settled in Vietnam now that I'm happy with my place and it's so convenient to go to work without the hour-long commute by taxi during rush hour and back.
引っ越したらもっとベトナムの生活になれてきました！通勤はもうこれから歩いて５分だけです！

Bảo Sơn Paradise
Toshi was craving ice skating, so after checking online, I came across Bảo Sơn, the only place in Hanoi to offer ice skating.
トシ君はアイススケートをやりたかったので、ハノイでは一つしかないアイススケート場へ行きました。
アイススケートと書いてあったのに、実際は、 アイスではなく、白いプラスティックの地面でした。
貸し靴もボロボロで，全然すべることができなくてイライラしました。

*Side note: there *are* nice, Western-style hospitals in Hanoi, my company just didn't arrange for me to go to one of those.　ハノイではいい病院もあります。心配しないでください！
